Operating from a modern facility and holding AS9100 accreditation, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and reliability to our customers.
As we prepare for significant growth, we are looking to recruit an additional skilled CNC miller with a solid background in manufacturing complex parts.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with a solid CNC manufacturing background who is able to machine complex parts and also understands the need for Quality and compliance whilst adhering to AS9100 requirements and the need for full traceability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- We are looking for a highly experienced candidate with the correct consistent and relevant engineering background
- Programming and running all machine tools within the business controls generally Mazitrol, fanuc, Heidenhain
- Competent use of Hypermil software to generate programs
- Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself
- Implementing all the company’s procedures and policies
- Communicating any problems or obstacles to production Manager
- Monitoring productivity rates, standards, and quality control
- Training and coaching team members
- Improvement of processes capture of people’s knowledge and ensuring its embedded within works order information
- Implementing safety, health, environment, and quality requirements
- Aiding other departments and business area when required
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- On the job experience for 5 years plus
- Use of CAD/CAM systems ideally Hypermill
- Lean manufacturing concepts and experience
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Good background knowledge in milling turning workshop processes and quality requirement
